18 Inch wheels on a v8 Vantage?

Hi all:

What are people's opinion on 18 inch wheels on a vantage? It seems like the only cars running 18 inch wheels are the OZ wheels from the GT4 and the Speedline Corse wheels from the N24. To me, wide, 18 inch wheels just look right on the V8 Vantage:

I know a lot of these are dedicated race cars and they are lowered quite a bit, but I also know quite a few are converted to road use. How much of a problem would 18 inch wheels be on the road, in combination with lowering springs, for a non-daily driver car? And does anyone run 18 inch wheels aside from the OZ GT4 racing wheels or the Speedline Corse N24 wheels?

I almost used a picture of your car in this thread, thanks for the response! Do you have any trouble with the 10 inch wide front wheels? What size tires do you run? Although I don't think I can get the Speedline wheels like you have, I'm going for the same size/width/offset.

I've been considering 18x10 ET40 (275/40/18) all round on my DB9. For two reasons; 1) I want a square setup for longer road trips where if I have a flat, I could have a single size spare/donut as backup and 2) I want the extra rubber hoping it will improve ride comfort. With the whole Corona situation I haven't been able to use the car so I haven't got round to testing it.

I assume that's 255/40 and 295/35?
