First post here, so thanks for having me. I'm in the process of converting the key on my 2007 V8 Vantage Roadster from the Volvo key to the glass key. I've changed over the innards of the key and the glass key unlocks and locks the car etc. I've now purchased all the parts needed to install the key dock bar a couple of connectors. I've been quoted £5,000 by Aston Martin bits for a cabin loom that has the connectors for the key dock and PATS system. However, I only actually need the two plastic connectors to plug in the ignition and PATS wiring to the dock. I'm struggling to track them down. I need connectors for the two circled sockets on the attached photo. Does anyone have any idea of the part numbers for them, or where I can source them from? Also, if anyone has the pinout diagram for them that would be immensely helpful too.
Many thanks, and I'll be sure to update the thread as I go along.
I'd be interested in doing the opposite one day. I really dislike the glass key and much prefer the simpler physical key + push button of the earlier cars. I'm sure when my dock eventually breaks like so many seem to do with age, I'll be going the other way. Hope you can document the process.
As for the plugs, I would look at exotic car dismantlers for something like that.
those look like rather standard automotive electrical connectors... I'm sure if you look away electrical connectors images on Google, you're bound to find them... just a like legwork
The larger plug looks like a TYCO/TE/AMP 173858-1. It's difficult to make out the smaller plug.

Edit: Found the female plug for sale here. Scroll down for the 12-pin version. Not sure if it's the best place to buy, just the first I found. Cycle Terminal Amp MultiLock
