Vantage Navigation Delete

I absolutely can't stand the pop up nav on my '11 Vantage. Has anyone done a delete? Found this on Carbon Fiber Racing and was wondering if I could throw this over the plate or perhaps remove the existing plate and nav assembly and install this or an OEM non navigation plate instead?

I just powered mine off the day I picked up the car and have never turn it on. Stays closed all the time even when restarting the car and I find the lines of the lid to be only a minor annoyance.

Personally I think the OEM brushed metal you have now compliments the color scheme of the car so very well. If you're going to delete, I would vote for OEM.

This has been discussed a few times recently. Seems like you can just unplug the screen and it will no longer function and also won’t set off any lights or warnings etc.

I plan to give it a shot when installing glass buttons on my dbs and switch to a non sat nav piano black ski slope. I too am bothered by the cutout.

Some of us have front and rear cameras via the navigation screen.
