Internally, OGara treats AM as the lowest rank of all their brands. And as such, the owners too. Personal experience. I got snubbed in my V12VS at service. To prove a point, I showed up in my 720s for service another time and things got really different. I never since service with them but I do Galpin or Newport Beach for AM service.

It did feel that way when I tried to schedule service with them. I have heard good things about Newport Beach but as I live in Santa Barbara it is Galpin or O'Gara. My ownership of an Aston Martin has occurred during the pandemic so I can't tell what it might be like after but as I like Galpin I think they will be my "go to". It's also very true that when/ if I get another Aston I will give Galpin my business.

You are in good hands at Galpin. I have known John and Doug for about a decade now. They have taken care of my other cars too.

Aren't you the bloke with the new vantage 6 speed? How's your ride holding up?

I love it. It is the 7 speed dogleg manual. It took me a little while to learn how manage the huge wall of torque the engine twists. Now it is second nature and the car drives well and fits like a glove. I have small complaints but they aren't fatal. I am glad I found Galpin for service as the alternative would have made me insane. John is the service rep who helped me and I gotta say he was on the money. Professional, prompt, organized.
