I'm in the market for a DB9 and as I go through listings I have seen a couple of 2006 cars that have some sort of an electronic thing where the ashtray should be. I've checked the owners manual and see nothing like it. I've attached a picture of the area on one of the cars. anybody know what it is??

Most likely it's the control unit for the dealer installed Sirius XM satellite option. My '07 Vantage had it, but was actually under the ashtray lid in the same spot. Those did come with a lifetime subscription that still works today.
