I know there have been several treads on spacers. I just put 11mm H&R spacers with the extended thread lug nuts on both the front and rear. I think that the wheels on my car must be wider than some others because I’m sure that 23mm spacers
on the rear would be too much. The tires on my Vantage are 285x35x19 on the rear and 245x40x19 on the front. Anyway I’m very happy with the way it looks now.
Interesting, I wonder what the offset on those 5 spoke wheels are, maybe 55?. I was thinking about going 18x8.5/9.5 45 offset. The internet seems to say the Vantage S has 59 instead of 62mm offset in the rear, so with Vantage S wheels the tires poke out about 8mm compared to a stock early Vantage without spacers, and 19mm with the spacers, if the wheels are 59 offset.
They look perfect ! Where do you buy the spacers and lug nuts? 11mm sounds right. You don't want it looking like a skate board. I used a plumb-bob to measure mine and I would not go more than 11mm either.
Rather than start a new thread, I also bought the 11mm/23mm kit from H&R and will be installing em and resetting the ride height sometime this week or next - will report back
I pulled my front tire off today and was bummed that these are the spacers on my car. I do not think that it is safe that they are not hub-centric.
