Vantage hand brake issue

Hi all,

I'm currently working on a 09 Vantage. It is from an auction where it had right side damage, so it affected the right side front and rear suspension.

Finally got everything bolted up and on the ground and ready for a test drive. However, the brake light remains on. I noticed one of the levers on the e-brake is not touching the switch that disables the light. So if I reach behind the e-brake and help the lever down to touch the switch, the the light goes away. I'm wondering if the lever is actually sticking or is there another issue?

I'm going to attempt again today to see what happens. But any insight is appreciated.

Thanks!

similar problem on my db9. I cut a small piece of plastic tubing and slipped it over the nub that makes contact. Effectively increased it in diameter. Light goes off now when I drop the handle.

Same on my '07 V8 Vantage. I put a drop of epoxy on it and let it harden. It was enough to make contact.
