Today was a terrible day. Just when I was in neutral after a little ride, I heard a little bang so I immediately turn the car off and went outside. And noticed that the fuel pump won't stop and so I had to remove the battery. Was NOT easy, as I was trying to cut off power there was some weird smell coming out probably pump overheating. Removed the battery pump stopped and reconnect it again. So I can run the car. A faulty gear message showed up no pump sound and the car won't start. Gear in 1st instead of neutral and when I press N there is a buzzing sound.

 

You don't see a puddle of fluid underneath? The fuel pump is quiet ASM pump you can hear easily, and even more so when it's out of fluid.
