Can’t believe the low inventory…
+1 for AM Newport Beach. Great customer service and very easy to deal with.
+3 on Newport Beach
I've had to dig deep and search relentless for comps for insurance and there have been only 2 cars even close, and one at Boston is priced a little too good to be true at $55k. I'm suspect. The good news is SF took it off the totaled list and put it back in the repair list, at least until Karosserie does a pull apart and see if there's any supplemental estimate, but I'm still looking for comps just in case and there is not much on the market. When I was searching for mine there would be 150 cars for sale across all the listing sites.

I checked autotrader for 2010-2018 Vantages and there were only four listed in the entire country. I also couldn't believe the prices they were asking. I paid $87k for my 2013 almost five years ago and I think I could get high 70's today. Crazy. Not that I plan to sell, but geez
????
i'm counting about 40 vantage v8's 2010-2018 in all configurations in autotrader:

yes, you're right there aren't many out there.
it's interesting that if the minimum model year is lowered to 2006 there are quite a few manuals for sale. nineteen in fact. shows how the manual has fallen out of favor starting in 2010. people love a good paddle i guess.

I wasn't making a commentary on paddle vs pedal. I did that search because it's what I have and wanted to get an apple/apple comparison. I didn't check but is the paddle version asking higher prices than the pedal?
I've kept an eye on this. It appears the premium is about $10k or so. With age, the single-clutch automated manual will leave a lot to be desired in terms of driveability whereas the manual will always be appreciated.
it might be better to think it as a percentage of the asking price over a comparable automatic. and i would guess that it is at a 15-30% premium for most sports cars made in this century. of course my guess is no better than next guy's. ....
True, I think that number will spread over time though. Also, I'm not sure what percentage of V8 Vantage's were produced in manual. I know the vast majority F430's were created with the F1 trans.
The price spread on manual is more significant and will continue to be on the V12 models.
