Can’t believe the low inventory…
The local Scottsdale AM Dealer has not had a used AM (any model) on the lot for almost 6 weeks. I recently bought a 2015 V8V and still have active searches on all of the major search sites with virtually zero notifications. I’m talking used so there are obviously no supply chain issues, and the dealership has decent new inventory. You guys seeing the same in your markets?
I'm sure that dealers are finding the same high prices for used cars as consumers, so they may not be buying. I have access to Manheim and the inventory there looks like any other car website (auto trader, carvana, etc) with cars being offered at retail prices with a very few really going to auction. Which to me would mean that those would be maybe in maybe less than good condition. I bought my 2006 3 months ago from a private party after being on the market about a year, and i saw prices go up about 20% during that time. And have not found any at the price I bought since, with prices shooting up at least another 10%. This is probably not the best time to get a "deal" for sure. Also, any smart individual would list their car on BAT or similar instead of trading in, where prices are at a premium for well maintained cars. Market conditions have sure changed lately.
I have a 2009 4.7 v8 I am going to be listing. It is near mint, but everyone says that, lol. I find this site very hard to get around and use so I don't use it very much. I hate selling stuff, pain in the but!! But it might be time. I hardly ever drive it, love it though. Over 2 years of ownership and maybe 2000 miles, kinda sad. If there is interest, reach me at goodleo@telus.net.
Plenty of Sportshift cars improperly listed as manuals, though, most of which were 20% more than what I paid for my 6-speed two years ago.
I did the same to try and gauge the current value of mine versus comps. Couldn't find a single 4.7L Vantage coupe (or convertible, for that matter) with a (real) manual.

Low inventories are a constant across all marques at the moment. We had a heck of time replacing our XC60 coming off lease. Not a deal to be had. It was more of taking the lightest beating. At least the residual value on the XC60 was equally as high as the lack of inventory.
Just took another look within 150 miles of Scottsdale. Only 1 used AM (2018 DB11 V12 asking $152.5K at a Dealer).
Agree that inventory is low for most brands, but I was in the market 2 short months ago and it wasn't nearly this low.

First, I have to get tired of this AMG GT...that is prob going to take a while.
I was shopping the Scottsdale market for a Vantage less than a year ago (October) and frankly, ended up with more choices everywhere else than Scottsdale. Came close to buying a member's CA car, but in the end, I gave up for this round and ended up with a CPO AMG GT. Very happy with it (almost a year now) but the next move will prob be back in the Vantage range IF the market gets better, but I wonder sometimes whether it will straight up to the "take over" of the Electrics, which is a fait accompli.

When you find a good one you need to jump on it. I searched for over a year for a 2016 Vantage GTS with a manual. I found one and they didn’t even have pictures of it yet. I called them and they emailed them to me. I called them back and told them I would be there in two hours. They were about hundred miles from me. I traded in the Mercedes CL 600 that I bought on BAT just two weeks prior. Really liked the CL but had to have the GTS.

Houston (would have to flood check it though)
It'd be a good deal for someone in a state like AZ as the sale is a private party so, no sales tax on the purchase....that'll save a few dollars....
Not much time left on it - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2011-aston-martin-v12-vantage-carbon-black-edition-2/]2011 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black Edition 6-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - ending September 2 (Lot #54,415) | Bring a Trailer

There is an awfully nice looking V12 Vantage, manual on BAT right now for anyone who might be shopping one.

It is nice, I rode in it before it went onto the auction and had considered an off-market purchase. Decided to pass on the black/black and I prefer all leather. Also, had just picked up a DB9 a few months so this was more to see what the manual 12 felt like. With the mods the owner has done, it is sharp, sounds great, but it certainly a firm ride. Definitely no flood issues on it. I would do some extra paint correction on it and get some of the clear bra off and redo, otherwise, seemed well looked after.
