Vantage roadster rear view mirror

The rear view mirror on my 2009 Vantage V8 has a lot of small little imperfections in it (almost looks like it has a "granite" finish to it). Any source for an inexpensive rear view mirror? Is it an Aston specific part?

Thanks!!

They offer a repair/refurbish service.
Plus they have other options.

You can often find them used on Ebay when they are parting out cars. Is the roadster mirror different than the coupe? I would think their the same... do you also have the home link buttons?

What part is pitting?

I swapped mirror heads on my 2009 to add a video scrren rear view mirror for front and rear cameras... it's not that hard but you will destroy the old mirror head in the process.

In case it's useful, here are the various overpriced OEM models. The model depends on whether you have homelink, autodimming, etc. A quick google didn't turn up obvious parts bin matches. The mounting seems different for the usual Ford family suspects.

Ford/Volvo/Mazda and others use Gentex as their supplier for Homelink mirrors. Aston isn't listed in Gentex's SEC filing (I'm in DC, of course that's where I go for parts info).

the mirror comes from the land rover bin but the mount is unique to Aston... here's some pics

of what I did a few years ago on swapping out the mirror

Thanks! It's hard to get it to show in a photo, but it appears the mirror finish on the backside of the glass has flaked resulting in a lot of grayish spots.
