Sportshift pump/actuator sound

Hello all. I am new to the Aston world, and have just got myself a 2007 V8V Sportshift. I understand you can hear the ASM pump (or the actuator?) sound when you open the driver’s door, which is normal. But do you still hear that sound when the car is started or running? If so how often is it? I constantly hear it when driving the car, at an interval of about once every minute or 2, regardless if the can is idling or moving. Gear shift is fine and there is no sign of leak at all on the gearbox and ASM components. So is this priming sound normal?
