V8 vantage spark plugs and coil change

Hi all, just want to know other owners on how often do you change your plugs and coil for your v8 vantage. Do you actually follow the recommended timeline? Have anybody just change the plugs and not the coils?

Just recently did my spark plugs due to age, not mileage. I believe it was 7 years or 70k miles. The car only had 13k miles but is a 2013. Did not do the coil packs as upon inspection they were perfectly fine.

those spark plug tips look to be ablated, which will increase the gap between them. good that they were replaced.

and as far as changing the spark plugs and coil packs separately... it depends on difficultly the job it.
Yup, it was time for the plugs to go. The process is fairly simple until you get towards the back where it becomes a little difficult to maneuver, but hard at all. I would say the price is another factor as each coil pack is a little over 100 per.

I wasn't aware the V8's had coil issues? I was under the impression it was only the V12's running the coils too hot that caused an issue.

Yes, the braces are easily removable, however I dont remember them being that much of a pain to work around, it was more that brake reservoir. Still would have been easier to remove the brace though.

I dont think v8 have that issue. Just replaced due to maintenance cycle. V12 have that issue cause they run hot. Also a pain to replace as you have to take more things off to access them.
