Driving 2011 AM DBS from OC in CA to GA, and having a grand time. Also, want to mention it, that the car is not that bed on gas mileage, in my opinion.
a couple years ago i bought a 2007 vantage with 11,000 miles on it from a autonation.com outlet in campbell, ca (san jose) and drove it home.. IIRC it was on a friday. on saturday i filled it with gas, checked the oil and drove to columbus ohio to visit relatives for a week or so and then back again to the east bay area of california. no problems except for a bunch of bothersome red-herring dash messages.
the only real problem (of course no mention of it from the dash) was a faulty thermostat that i replaced once i got back to the east bay.
Nice ride..I’m looking forward to stretching the astons legs this summer…did 1000 kms the day I bought it..wasn’t a problem…in fact would have been happy to carry on….

So far this car is holding out pretty good. Only light that is on is TPMS. The sensor box was replaced by a dealership, but they didn’t have enough time to reset it in time for my trip. They will pay it for once I’m back in GA.
I failed to check the weather. Stayed in Amarillo, TX and got caught out by snow. It will require good bath by the end of this trip.
A couple of weeks ago I drove my Vanquish from the Pays de la Loire in France to Cheshire in the UK and back via the Eurotunnel. That was around 1,150 miles.
My average MPG going there was 28.5, not bad in my opinion. A good wash is in order.
Sounds like a great trip... seriously thinking about doing a reverse trip... buying an exotic here in east coast, driving cross country over a couple weeks then selling out in CA where folks seem to pay more for cars...
I love when my DB9 looks like yours ExSF. It's been on the road, driven & enjoyed. I consistently get 19-21 mpg when grand touring in my V12 over the past 4 years.
