i know, i know... aston parts prices are ridiculous and everyone knows it. but today i was shocked once again after buying some new spark plug wires for my restored 1952 mg td. for a seventy year old car the parts appear to be readily available and dirt cheap. a set of five wires can be had for $14.83. after seeing that i just had to price a set for my 2007 vantage. i saw an OEM set for $475 on ebay.

If you check rockauto dot com, they list Champion Iridium plugs for the Vantage (2006-2017) at just over $5 each (plus shipping)...if you're planning to change them when you do your other maintenance.

 

Looks like he was talking about wires, and not plugs themselves.

@61mga - your MG's wires aren't a direct comparison to the Vantage, as those are a coil on plug setup, and by definition are more complicated and expensive. That said, Aston Martin parts are absolutely very expensive.

 

Go to Hreen Spark Plug in the UK. 8 plugs for a little over $120 with shipping. NGK just like the factory.

 

Just a follow up. I got 8 spark plugs and 4 O2 sensors for not much over $300. All OEM NGK from Green Spark Plug in the UK.
