2015 V12 Vantage S

When I turn on my car, the GPS screen pops up with the AM logo but won't enter into GPS mode. From what I can tell, the system is in "mass storage device" mode and won't switch back. I have tried plugging in my computer directly to the usb port on the module in the trunk, but it isn't recognizing it like it used to. Everything else seems to be working fine, just no GPS. It's not the end of the world since I rarely, if ever, use the GPS system, however I don't know what I will do when I need to change the clock or anything else.

Anyone out there ever experience this or know how to do a "hard reset" on the GPS?

 

Are you getting multiple bars for a signal? Battery negative reset in open air would be the next option.

 

There is nothing displayed other than the AM logo. It's like when you first start the car and the system is booting up, just displaying the logo. I figured I would need to physically unplug everything and let it reset. I just don't know if that will do the trick.

 

If it hasn't been to a dealer in a year or two, could be a software update.
