Great question. Depending on the metal you choose you can cut using an angle grinder with a steel cutting bit and then sand smooth. I had a friend whose shop can put in the dimensions and then machine cut.

That looks great in carbon. Unfortunately, having a carbon slam panel and carbon plaque would clash.
