I don't know why there is a #7... I don't recall a sensor on the rear of the block.

No worries! Reason why i ask is because as I mentioned i changed spark plug/ coils and I thought maybe i knocked the connector at the back hence the P0340 about camshaft position sensor. As you indicated the actual position sensor is in the front (must be near the camshaft ). So at least it seems i didnt knock anything, just so happen when i start the camshaft position sensor decided to go

Both. Does not affect engine performance though. Comes on the 2nd ignition cycle once cleared. I need to get my car inspected this month too .

Will have to jump through a few hoops to clear the code, drive long enough to clear it and then get it inspected. Mechanic thinks it's ECM related. Looking to buy a used ECM to test.

Do you need to remove the manifolds in order to replace the camshaft sensors?
Better to ask my mechanic. I have no idea, but said it wasn't a big job to replace sensor. He cleaned the connections and checked grounds before buying the sensor originally.
