DB9 wiper replacement Europe
My 2009 original DB9 wipers where ready for replacement, but finding the right ones was not as easy as I thought it would be.
Steve at aston1936.com mentioned the Bosch flatblade Icon set 24" (600mm) driverside and 20" (500mm) passengerside, however the Icon is not sold in Europe.
Eventually I found these two sets from Bosch as repacement which are sold as Aerotwin retrofit series which are somewhere between €20-€25 for a set.
The earlier DB9 models have the old hook type wiper arms, which can be fitted with Bosch flatblade AR603S, LHD 600mm/500mm upto MY2012

From MY2012 the DB9 has the new wiper arms, for these you can use the Bosch flatblade A297S LHD 600mm/500mm set.

However some vendors are also offering the 650mm driverside wiper for the later models, make sure you check your vehicle and order the right size wipers.
Steve has some nice videos on how replacement is done, takes a bit of fiddeling, just take your time.
The replacemnt is hampered when the wipers are in the normal, off, position, the bonnet is in the way.
You can put the wipers in service position (near vertical) for easier access. For the older models press radio buttons 8+9 then turn the ignition key to position 2. For later models press radio buttons 2+6 and insert the ECU.
Tested the new AR603S set yesterday at high speed (empy highway at night) in moderate rain and normal speed in heavy rain and they worked great, no noise and clean wiper action.The flatblades have a much lower design, looks a lot cleaner than the original clunky ones.
