How do I remove the console CD changer? I have the nav screen.

I am installing the Dension 500 to give myself Bluetooth streaming. I have removed the waterfall, stick shift console and am trying to remove the climate control panel, to access the CD changer.

I have the climate panel unscrewed but there isn’t enough slack to pull out and unplug the connectors that go to the AC, fog light, etc buttons. I also can’t tell HOW to unplug the connectors themselves.

Back when I installed my Dension I didn't need to remove the cd player/central unit as I could access the orange fiber optic cables from removal of the top fascia panel alone.

I originally tried that.
I have the Bovee1000 and can get it to power and pair with iPhone 14, but then it drops offline. I have it connected to the ashtray plug for power. I’ve tried both the 2A and 2B installation methods.

I spoke with the Dension support guy, and he said it needs to be connected to the CD changer.

So I managed to get it off. Just takes patience, a lot of alcohol, and a willingness to bleed.
This must be what engineers mean when they talk about ease of access.
