Day 2 of ownership. My V8V came from factory with the Pentosin CHF11s as I read about the service bulletin to flush older models with a different type of fuid.

My question is about the lubricant additive that is required when switching to CHF11s in the older cars. My plan was just going to be to turkey baster out and refill a few times over a few weeks. Maybe go through 2 liters and call it good. My question though is whether I assume the factory put in the additive with mine and if I need to add some of that too with my process.

The additive is for the squeaky noise that radiates thru the column. No noise, no additive.

If you do want to add the lubrizol, it's the same additive that MB and Jag uses. I was able to find some fairly easily on ebay because I believe the AM part number is discontinued.
