and yes, i agree, i have no reason to believe that it does not have a SAP on it.

i'm beginning to wonder what the Aston dealership in Walnut Creek, did two years ago to set the SAP test as being run. they were reluctant to tell me. hmmmm...
The service advisor likely just doesn't know. Ideally, if you could talk to the technician and ask if he used some sort of AMDS test plan, that would be best, but most service departments really don't like technicians talking to clients because they are...blunt...to put it nicely.
At BMW, we could use our old GT1 computer and force the car to perform some of the emission monitor tests, but the more modern ISTA software doesn't have that function anymore.

thanks for that info.

i know the owner of an indy shop in San Mateo. it's a hike to get over there, but i guess i could call him and ask him what to do. two years ago i contacted him for the same problem and he offered to fix it for a price similar to the one offered by the nearby aston shop in walnut creek, ca. so i went to the aston shop in walnut creek, as it's only 10 miles away. maybe it's time to call the San Mateo shop again and ask how he would have fixed it. maybe he'll tell me. ...can't hurt i guess.

thanks again. it's appreciated.

Following this thread as well since I am having 4 INC tests (Catalyst monitoring / EVAP (which seems not to matter) / O2 sensor heater monitoring / EGR system monitoring).
I found the Ford and AMV8 drive cycles that I will follow on my next rides. BTW, do I have to set the monitors in a specific order? Or tests will just clear as soon as I fulfill the respective conditions?

Just smogged my car this morning, all good!
The certificate states that the "Air Injection System" and "EGR" monitors are "Not Applicable".
No mention of a Secondary Air Injection Pump, so maybe it's checked as part of another monitor?

Your V12 Rapide does not have Seconday air or EGR from manufacturer, so N/A.

Be glad the emissions monitors set easily on the V12 vs V8.

Resurrecting... @61mga did you ever figure out how to get EVAP and 2nd AIR to trigger? Having the same issue here.

So far:
- 10 cold starts.
- 10 minute idle this morning.
- 15min @ 57mph on cruise yesterday.
- Accelerate from 30mph to 50mph over 20s
- Random freeway and street driving over the past week

Nothing triggers those two tests so far.
