I recently received my Foxwell NT809. I plugged it in and was able to read modules on both the OBDII and Body ports. There were some errors so I cleared them.

Since then, I have started the vehicle and driven, the rear defrost button is flashing constantly.

I read elsewhere that this button flashing may indicate a communication channel is open. However, no matter how I sequence the removal of the diagnostic tool, it does not seem to stop the button from flashing.

Any advice appreciated.

Hard reset by disconnecting the negative side terminal.
Although then you need to reset the windows, possibly seats and re-learn the misfire corrections.
