I just got the 2023 Vantage (new) last month..excellent car ..obviously tech is way behind as we all know (I also have the other end of the tech, the new SL63, which I believe has too much of it).
The standard options state iPhone integration. Does anyone know in what form? when I connect an iPhone (bluetooth) or wired, nothing happens (no carplay or different features) besides streaming audio. If it is just bluetooth streaming then why state that specifically in specs. Please let me know if I am missing anything. I am not able to find anything online or in the manual.
It’s just the usual Bluetooth music stream and phone features as standard.
You can get CarPlay dealer fitted by your AM dealer. It’s an updated system over the first one that they came out with and works extremely well. They changed from Aux to Bluetooth for music streaming which gives better sound. Full wireless CarPlay. The Merc screen is actually pretty good quality too. Really transforms the infotainment. The standard Merc stuff was pretty horrible. Now it’s great.
Yeah, mate, you're not alone in this—Aston's tech has always lagged a bit, and the 2023 Vantage is no exception. As far as I know, it doesn’t support Apple CarPlay or anything beyond basic Bluetooth streaming, which is disappointing considering how they advertise "iPhone integration." It seems to just mean hands-free calling and audio playback, nothing more. Definitely a letdown when compared to other high-end cars. On another note, if you're into customising things, you might like this gta online ringtone—no extra costs, and you can create your own tones without any additional charges. Might as well personalise your sound while you’re at it!

2025 Vantage has CarPlay and all the things as standard.
OP bought a run out model. Having said that, the dealer will install CarPlay on this model and it works very well.
My buddy has a 2022 Vantage and ran into the same thing—plugged in the iPhone, nothing besides audio. Turns out the car’s “integration” is really just Bluetooth streaming unless you pay for a software update. We ended up using activecalls through the phone for hands-free stuff in the meantime, works surprisingly well and keeps calls clear while driving.
