iPhone 4 / Vantage connection

I have a 2007 Vantage Roadster and can't connect my iPhone 4 via Bluetooth. Anybody have any tips?

It's very difficult to sync the Iphone with the Aston Bluetooth...best to bring it to the dealer. Apparently the timing has to be perfect when you do it and the tech can do it in 2-3 minutes unless the new Iphone 4 is not compatible with the Aston bluetooth, which is always possible...please let us know.

I've never had a problem pairing my previous 3 iPhones, only the 4.

mine worked as well on first try, in fact was thrilled that it finally became "phone 1"

My last phone was stuck in "phone 3", previous owner had 2 phones saved.

Thanks for the replies. I tried several times initially with no luck, but I'll try again. Maybe it was just cranky that day!

one thing I wanted to add, Apple did tweak some thing with the way the software handles bluetooth connections. I noticed this when I installed iOS4 earlier this year (I'm a developer with beta access)

With iOS4, the ringtone is actually transmitted via bluetooth to the Aston Martin system instead of just the car ringing. Are you guys noticing the same thing?

My ringtone is also my daily alarm in the morning, I certain do not like hearing it :P

Thumbs up

Just tried it again and voilą! It worked! I didn't change anything in the process either. And as you said it does transfer the ringtone. Thanks!
