'08 Vantage front sensor location

Does anyone know where the front impact sensor location is ?
I have an error code "Front Side impact sensor B Pillar". Front and B Pillar seem contradictory. Ive replaced the sensor behind the seat below the B Pillar but was confused by the word Front in the error code so now I suspect the Front sensors. It's not under the large Aluminum plate over the radiator and AC condenser. I also don't see it under the front vinyl wheel arches.

What is the actual P or B code from your OBD tool? A generic code reader might not give you the specific Aston error. It might be fair translation of that code to say, "Front passenger side impact sensor (maybe B pillar)". Keep in mind that just because that sensor is erroring doesn't mean it's bad. It could be the airbag control module or a wiring defect between the module and the sensor, for example.

The code is P00CE. from a Foxwell NT520 Pro scanner < Front side impact sensor (Right B pillar) Sensor error >. . If I could find the 2 front sensors I could swap the 2 sides and see if the OBD2 reader possibly gives the same code with (Left B Pillar). (?). I found the sensors behind the seats (B-Pillar) and shaped both with a new part with no change to the code reader message. Thanks

That's actually pretty confusing. P codes are for powertrain. I would've expected a B code for the impact sensors. P00CE should be something more like "Intake air temperature measurement - multiple sensor correlation issue."

Does the code cause a check engine light or a stability control system fault?

The car dash reports < SRS Airbag Service Urgent >. The scanner was plugged into the Body OBD2 port. I thought my swap idea might save a trip to the dealer.

I found the front crash sensors located on an aluminum bracket contains the hood latch right in front of the radiator. Access it by removing 12 T30 bolts securing the large aluminum panel. The two sensors face the rear of the car.
