02 Sensor help - Bank 1 Sensor 2

Hey guys,

I have a P0136 and P2271 code letting me know I need to replace one of my o2 sensors - Bank 1 Sensor 2. Upon inspection, I have TWO - Sensors 2's, see pick bellow, marked with red errors. Which one do I need to replace?

Do the code pop up every time you start the car? Is it a daily driver? Ive seen those codes tied to poor fuel or a dying battery... Have you cleared the codes? Do they come back?

+1 on the vagaries of those codes...

But, my understanding is that each side of the V12 has it's own ECM (allowing AM to reuse a system built for a V6) and each ECM has two "banks", front and rear (so the car actually has 4 "banks"). I believe you need to decide which ECM is logging the codes and from there decide which O2 sensor is going bad. In my case, when I had a single 02 sensor going bad I traced it back to a wiring issue at the connector to the ECM. Shoving the wire back into the connector solved the problem (for now!).

If this isn't correct, then my apologies...

Aston1936 has all the info you need for replacement. I changed all my O2 sensors at the same time. But I have a vantage. Remember those are Ford products so you should be able to get them fairly cheap.

I washed his videos and it's still not clear as I have two, side by side, o2 sensors in my downstream, one in each of the Y's as you can see in the pic. Im seeing just one in the DB9 applications. Ill see if I can reach out to him directly.

Now that you bring this up, I haven't seen the code come back on after I cleared it. I just scanned it again and now no code. I still would like to get to the bottom of my question so that in the future I understand how to proceed.

Would you happen to know where we can find the compatible part numbers?
Is there a dedicated website for that? Or do I need to remove the current sensor to get the Ford part number?
Thank you.
