The CCF has a couple settings related to the gearbox type. At the minimum this will need to be changed in the CEM. It's possible the CEM and PCM may also need to be re-flashed by AMDS after the modified CCF is flashed. I've seen AMDS fail to flash some settings and even if the CCF is modified AMDS may not flash the manual box supporting software. Not sure if it has an as-built database of the supported cars that it checks against or not. It's also possible there's some other part of the config I haven't decoded yet. I haven't done anything as ambitious as a manual swap, mainly only infotainment mods. Not for lack of want... The DB9 is my SO's car and she insists on keeping the auto box.

I have only dabbled in changing the config of my car with my personal AMDS. I haven't done any ECU tuning in the classical sense.
