Been wanting a VH V12 Vantage for a long while. Finally pulled the trigger this week. Very excited. Working on transportation from TN to WA. Love the spec.
#1 DO NOT press 'D' ever. Use the Paddles to shift modulating the gas exactly as if using a manual which is the way Aston intended to be driven. You can let it downshift on it's own, does just fine.
#2 Check for headlight and tail light condensation - very common. I don't drive in the rain and I don't hit the car with direct spray on head or tail lights. Condensation could ruin the LED's - I put DivinaTech Tail Lights on the 2016 V12S I just bought - fixes the issue and adds sequential lighting.
#3 DO NOT use any tire or wheel cleaner which can destroy Carbon Brakes! Good news is no brake dust - Bad news spray a chemical on those brakes and you can have a $20K repair.
Otherwise these are pretty bullet proof... the B/O Stereo is incredible.
You have 30K miles, mine had 24K miles. My battery is 3 years old, TPMS have not been changed. I'm thinking next annual to get new battery and new TPMS sensors when my new wheels come in (I've Commissioned Forza to build diamond turned Aston Martin replica wheels but in 20" with extra rear and front offsets (below pict of a Black V12S I had with those stock wheels). Also on the fence changing coil packs and plugs next annual even though the owners manual states 70K miles, I've known a few with the same engine that had issues at the 25K mile range.
The V12S is rare and prices are rising - My V8 Vantage value is not, but they are not rare. Driving my V8 Vantage then driving the V12S is like driving two very different cars.

Congratulations! These are incredible cars. Amazing that it's Cobalt Blue -- I bought my 2015 V12VS Coupe last year, Cobalt Blue with Sahara Tan. There were just three Cobalt Blue V12VS Coupes built for the US market, and 14 worldwide.

Thanks for the tips, I was aware of some of them. I have ceramics on my 997.2 3RS.

Thank you. Wow, 1 of 3! I love Cobalt. Where are you pulling the stats from?

I want to turn the wheels to a share of silver. Does anyone know the factory paint options for the sport wheels? I've seen photos of silver colors and would love paint codes with an example photo.
Loaded up today and should be in Seattle Thursday/Friday next week.
Exciting! Cobalt is stunning. I got the stats from Tim at the Aston Martin Heritage Trust. He's the AMOC registrar. If you're interested in detailed info about the specs of your car, as well as other info such as how many of whatever, you can contact him. He'll do the research and send you the info in a "One-of..." certificate. Cost is roughly $80 IIRC.
About wheels, the "lightweight" wheels were also available in "silver" (gloss), and they were "graphite" on cars with the Sports Plus Pack. The V12 Vantage S brochure (they're usually available on eBay) shows the silver finish. The graphite wheels are on this car:

I'd guess a certified Aston body shop or a quality wheel repair shop would have the wheel paint codes. Here’s mine.
Wow stunning! That tan interior pops so well on the Cobalt. Would love some more interior photos if you have them. I had no idea Cobalt was so rare. Beginning of last year I was on vacation in Seoul and saw a stunning Cobalt(?) VH V12 with full AMR. Drooled all over it. I would have been drooling harder if I understood the rarity of Cobalt. It was next to a brand new Vantage V12 in a lovely green. But my preference is the VH.
Thanks for the example on the wheels that graphite looks like a nice match with the dark accents on my Cobalt. I will keep an eye out on eBay for the brochure.
This car will be a great fit next to my 997.2 GT3RS which I had repainted in Club blue with Carrara White Accents.

Before having your wheels done, I would wait to see how the forged wheels I commissioned from Forza turns out. Forza can replicate or customize wheels in China for a fraction of the cost of new wheels. I'm having them replicate the wheels I had on my 2015 V12S as shown below, but in 20" with 1" extra rear offset and 1/2" front offset. I want to see how they turn out before recommending them to others, but Miller Aston Martin is $14K for the wheels below, Forza is $2K replicated in 20" and wider offset. If they don't work I wasted $2K, of they do I saved $12K. Also, I found TPMS.com sells Aston branded TPMS for 1/3rd the cost of Aston, and since they make the Aston TPMS, you can get non-branded same sensors for far less than that!

Think it's closer to $150 now, I had one done earlier this year. Can't remember exactly what I paid but it was over $100 and I believe closer to $150. Would highly recommend having this done for your new car, uncovered some really cool information on my car and it's a great organization to support.
Congrats on the new V12S! Beautiful spec, love the yellow interior accents to match the calipers.
V12V AMR — sweet! I don’t think that’s Cobalt though — it looks darker. Maybe Mariana Blue? The later cars are very nice, but I also prefer the VH generation.
