Has anyone don the Davinatech Sequential Tail Light Upgrade?
Trying to find actual feedback form owners that have done the Davinatech sequential upgrade? One of my tail lights has condensation and it's now taken out one row of LED's.
I just reached out to them and they told me https://astoninstallations.com/ have now taken over Davinatech but with the tariffs, it's a PITA to send anything to and from the UK so figuring out if it's worth it?
Or whether I should bake my taillights apart and see if I can fix the led strip/caps etc?

Yeah, I got reamed on my last purchase form the UK so I'm not doing it unless I go there myself and then pick it up (which might happen this spring).
Can you tell us more about that? I've been unable to get a consistent answer regarding the "rules" and how the tarrifs are calculated.
When it arrived, the order sheet instead showed $187 (rather than $95).
They'd charged me more than the cost of the items in import fees and import duties. The seller told me they have no control over that and I should contact ebay.
I contacted ebay who just gave me the run around as I'm speaking to people quoting off scripts that basically said "those are the charges" and linked to generic waffle about imports in general.
I demanded to know how items which are supposed to have a 2.5% tariff managed to be charged 107% in tariffs and import duties and again, it was like speaking to a bot that has no actual info.
They then told me to contact Pitney Bowes for a breakdown of the charges but PB doesn't have any customer facing mehtos of contact. No chat , no phone number, not even an email, and their help pages direct you to speak to ebay about import charges.
I gave up in the end as I was spending more than $100 of my time trying to get a $100 refund.
It's criminal to be honest. It's all a scam, I don't believe for a second the chars were correct, and they're just adding costs and not even passing it on.
So car parts are meant to only be 2.5% but they're picking whatever figure they want, and then they can jack on separate "import fees" which are also completely made up.
So I've stopped purchasing anything through ebay or frankly the UK unless the seller guarantees duties and imports paid.

I won’t hold my breath.
I got banged for 25% in tariffs for $1000 in parts from the UK. Thought it was a good buy until UPS billed me $260 in tariff charges before they'd deliver. I'll sit out until the tariffs end.
Ordered boot lift struts via ebay from Aston martin spares. Price showed $80 inc tax for the pair plus $15 shipping.

Too little too late unfortunately, but those boot and hood struts are widely available in the US very cheap.. It's a common part used on many other brands and models. (obviously aftermarket, not proprietary AM). Just FYI.
Manufacturing Aston Martins parts in the US is simply not financially possible. You could never sell enough parts to recover your investment.
Red pants tried and it didn't work out well, even with offshore manufacturing to keep costs down.
