The only thing I am not enthused over (and people gripe the most about) is the Taurus-alike grill. I am certain that tuners will pick up on this and start offering more aggressive kits. That would be my only mod.

About the taurus grill-
As Ian Callum(the designer for the xk and some recent aston martins) says- "This is a Jaguar Grille. And it'll still be a Jaguar grille when all the Ford Tauruses have dissappeared." If you look at the e-type(xke) that also has a "taurus grill". The xke is known to be one of the most beatiful cars in the world, and automobile magazine placed it in the top 25 most beautiful cars of all time, which I agree with. I cant say that the Taurus doesnt have the same grill, but its still a jaguar grill.

XK is a hot car, I'm hoping it will help get Jaguar back on the right track. Most Jaguars are underrated frankly, the S-Type R is (still) a blast, the XJ is a very sophisticated car and the new XK is just plain gorgeous. Now regarding that Taurus grill, that's a complaint only heard of in the States simply because no European knows what a Taurus even remotely looks like.

I would have got a 911, but driving every day in bumper to bumper traffic with a 6 speed is a nightmare... and I didnt want a 911 with a tiptronic. I have been driving 911's for 22 years- and they are still the best. But, I wanted to try something different. I looked at the BMW 650 and actually ordered one- but backed out of the deal. I saw the Jag and fell in love with it, and wanted to try something different. So far so good!
