My Dad has an '03 Vanquish that he recently brought in because of what appeared to be a short in the radio. Water was discovered under the rear seat and under the driver's seat, approx. 1/4" to 2" deep. The mechanic says that the water could have possibly got in through the A/C ventilation, at the base of the windshield.

Anyone heard anything about something like this?

Well, they did clean up the water, but to date they don't know how the water got there. They could only speculate that it's coming in at the windshield. The tech recommended that a towel or something be used to cover that area when washing the car. This seems pretty ridiculous, but what are you gonna do? I'm just glad the damage wasn't worse, taking out something like the ECU.
