E60 M5 vs RS4

I've been looking at the used market for the the M5 and the RS4 and they seem very similar in pricing. What do you guys think for the same price 60K-ish, what would you pick up. Seems the M5 is not holding its value all too well. At the same price do you think the M5 is a better deal?

Yeah you're right, Europeans all have the same taste in cars...

[/offtopic]

I can't really give you an advise on these cars... Only that they're in two different leagues...

Audi is a fake BMW. Get the M5, no question.

That being said, the build quality of the M5 doesn't seem to be as solid as it used to be in the E39 generation. But you are limited on choices for that type of car, if you need a newer one.

bmw and benz are soon going to be overtaken by audi, they're expanding a lot and the new interiors are stunning in comparison.quality is up a lot too.
look at the new a5, woulnd't you take it over the cl(k) or 6-series? I would def.

RS4 no question. If you are about going fast straight take the M5, but if you want a well rounded car that is built good and handles great pick the RS4. It has a great suspension, it is fast, GREAT SEATS!!!! I have driven both and both are equally fast.

Dude just rent/hire both cars for AT LEAST a day ,yeah it will cost a little, but you'll be able compare them and you'll see whether the RS4 V8 or the V10 M5 suits you best. Thats all i can say really.

M5s are not holding values too well because of all the issues that owners are experiencing. Its a first generation E63, bugs and glitches are expected. I'd get the Audi RS4! And dont care what they think out there in Europe being 3rd choice n all, Audi interiors are top class and well above any BMW or Benz interior I've seen.

KLEEMANN STAGE 1 E55. 550HP. For an additional 2k in mods the e55 can have close to another 65hp.

Its got a supercharger, so theres so much torque. I never grow tired of torque!

lol

between rs4 vs m5.... Id take the m5 quick. No one knows what an rs4 is and it looks like a 15k a4

agreed......plus i would never pick an AWD car over a RWD car. the only thing in the RS4's favor in this comparison is the transmission but BMW has remedied that with the newer M5's
