v12 r8 officially a supercar or not?

the old r8 just didn't scream super-car, performance-wise or in the looks department. i think audi just stepped up and finally have a super-car in their hands. agreed???
when i say supercar i mean
1) cgt
2) enzo
etc
not
1) f430
2) gallardo
discuss...but please don't rip my ***** off in the process

Although the performance numbers may not be up there with the CGT, Enzo, etc.- the car can still be called a supercar in a sense. C'mon, its got a V12 twin turbo engine that puts out 738 ft lbs of torque! The looks are out of this world and its got some impressive technology. I agree that it's not a true supercar, but this is actually a very innovative concept from Audi.
I think it would be funny to roll up to a gas station in this thing and go to the deisel pump. Imagine the looks

I don't believe it's on the same level as the CGT & Enzo. It's getting closer though. It would need another 150 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque to do that - performance wise. Performance aside, I find it an extremely attractive package and I would no doubt seriously begin to consider this car over a 997 TT and perhaps even a GT2 depending on price.
Makes one wonder what an R8 with a normally aspirated V8/V10/V12 engine with 750 hp from the factory would be like...yeah it's a fantasy, but I like my fantasies.

Tough call.
It's way ahead of a 430 or Gallardo, but CGT:s or Enzos are in reality in a different league.
A very innovative step and a ground-braking car in many ways so it does check some boxes. I'm hoping the 0-62 numbers are pessimistic, I can't see how they couldn't be actually, but if not it's still got a little way to go for supercar status..
Supercar steering wheels though.
