Driving home from work in my Turbo and this beautiful R8 is tailing me for a good 5 miles.. Then the Blacked out R8 Cruises beside me in the right lane and starts surging forward and breaking to signal he wants to race.. I am not having any of it because I only have a couple points left on my license...

Well the R8 punches it and must not of been paying attention to the closed lane up ahead and crashes into several construction barrels and completely f*cks up the R8..

I stop to offer assistance and out comes this 16 year old kid who took his Dad's car out on a joy ride with only 100 miles on it.. The kid was completely crushed.. When the father showed up along with the police at the same time the look in his fathers face said it all.. I will try to upload pics tomorrow. I have to black out the kids face because I am sure some of us would like to shoot him...

wow, sad story. Something similar happened to a friend of mine. He had a small party at his house one night and someone got the keys to his dads 996TT which was in the garage. He wanted to sit in the car I guess so he went in the garage and started up my friend's dad's car and started revving the engine. Well, he had it in gear and took his foot off the clutch and put a brand new 996TT through the wall. not good.

My dad doesnt even let me reverse his R8 for the drive way.
If I took it out for a joy ride I wouldn't be here now!!

 

At the end of the day, I'm sure the kid learned his lesson (at his father's expense). At least no one was physically hurt.

Wow, what a grade A moronic move on that kid's part. I bet he won't be driving any performance cars for a very long time. If it is indeed the R8 above, then I feel especially bad. That thing is just beauutifullll.

 

thats a shame the car was loss, at least you pulled over to help and no one was seriously hurt....it sucks when you have to learn the hard way
