4.2 V8 forced induction ??
I havent ruled it out, but for what it would cost in down time on my car and now that the wife is back to work, I cant have the car down long enough to fab up a good system... I would love to have a turbo s4, but only if i can afford another truck to drive... I still think about it and I have talked to some people about it locally... If a supercharger will just bolt on and give me 45% more power, would just do that!!! Easy power adder, with the fabbing left to someone else? No brainer.
Don't worry, as soon as we have more concrete information and are nearing release will we be post more about this kit. This is definitely one of the projects that we're very excited to see near completion.

There really is no excuse for not having a good B6/B7 S4 supercharger. I think there are enough out there to make the sales needed if the cost was reasonable. The RS4 is understandable.... only 2000 RS4's in the USA... how many of those owners would drop 10k+ on a supercharger. Probably not enough to justify the creation. That I understand. The S5 has a new motor and again not that many s5's around (yet).
What surprises me is that there is no support for the Audi 3.2L. It's been around forever but often it's hard to even find an exhaust for the 3.2L. I guess enthusiasts always get the 2.0T for easy modding.

god i hope this is true... there has been so much talk over the years of company's working on FI for the B6 S4 and it's been just that, talk. " ok gues two more weeks" " ok guys by this summer" " ok guys this is almost done" " ok guys are you ready for some FI!!!" I wonder if this is gonna be made only per order if it ever comes out?

Gentlemen I was a die-hard lover of the the Audi RS4 but over time I realized that this model was left to die on the vine.
MTM is through to the moon in costs for a SC'er system.
The AWE system as stated at 450 bhp in not close to being competetive. An Active SC'er E46 M3 will still kill it.
For all these reasons I have dumped the RS4! This car is the "red headed stepchild of the family". It will not get touched and there are NO financial incentives to proceed with the RS4.
The RS4 is a deadend in the world of mods. I liked the car but nothing was going to happen.
I came to the realization so the car was not worth keeping.
MTM is in another planet in costs and still would not be competetive

That 450 number is for the B6&B7 S4 sc kit, obviously a 30hp bump for a supercharger would be pathetic.
No mods is the breaks for a limited edition car that shares no parts with any other car. But honestly I don't think the RS4 is a car for people who just want to mod. If modability is your main goal then you bought the wrong car. It's a fantastic car stock and the key mods, suspension and exhaust are available.
If I get the need for more power their are better cars for that. But for the rest of us the RS4 offers features that no other car can match w/ a respectable amount of power.

On the other hand, the beamer and the s4 were never meant to compete anyway... My reasoning for wanting more power is for a few track days a year and just to have it... Not really into "racing" a 4 door car at all... More just enjoying a few extra ponies wherever i can stretch it out... I try not to race on the street, allthough I am guilty of it from time to time, but who really pulls up to an s4 and wants to go? Now when I had my cts-v, i got that all the time, but not this...
