A number of customer and dealer cars that have been sitting in order banks for over 6 months have finally been pulled and scheduled for build in mid to late august. Its about freakin time too!

Among the cars pulled was my 2009 special order Suzuka Grey S5 which was ordered back in february.
magma red interior, carbon trim, drive select, b&o, nav, and tech package
maybe i can start to get excited now!

This car is from the Ratstatt, Baden-Württemberg region of Germany (as per it's plate).

Was the delay due to the car being a 2009? My dealer in Canada told me this week that they are buying new A5/S5 from US dealers to meet the demands in Canada (changing a few pieces and registering them as new Canadian cars). I am assuming that these are 08's.

 

This is one nice looking S5.

 

Seem's like waiting on that S5 of your's is like how were waiting on the B8 A4 series. Still their are no specs or any information from the dealers. How are we supposed to be able to order one when theirs no info on it and its comming out in a few weeks? They sure are keeping it top secret for sure.

LOL. They aren't buying them from here in Seattle. I have a friend at the dealership and I'd be waiting just like everyone else. A significant factor in my purchase of the S4. Every '5 that they have come in (A or S) is already sold. One guy at work who was fortunate enough to get his order in early still waited forever for his S5... That said, it was worth every second.
