R8 Carbon sideblades

Who didnt get sideblades on their R8, and why not? I saw a silver one this weekend without them, and it was rather disappointing.

when you say "without them", you mean they were completely missing, or just painted to color-match?

I mean color matched sideblades, without the carbon option.

Ive seen a couple with the CF sideblades in person, looks great.

i've seen a couple running around here with color-matched.... the owners said they had it done as they prefer the look of solid-color on them.

to each their own i guess.
i think it looks phenomenal either way

Didnt they have supply issues or something. Thats why alot of them came color matched instead of CF.

There are multiple options

- Standard Blades that come with whatever exterior color you choose

- Carbon Fiber Blades

- Oxygen Silver Blades

- Body Color Blades

- Custom Paint Color Blades

Some don't like CF and with the 2008's, there was a shortage of CF and was not orderable for quite some time.

Very nice! Did he opt for the polished wheels or is that just a trick of the light in the picture?
