My mode of transportation.

I know. It's not an S4, S6, RS4, or RS6, but hey! baby steps....

Truth be told i'm a huge VW guy... must have owned like 30 of them. This is my first foray into the Audi world, and so far i love this machine. I was looking at the S4s, but i needed more utility with my "active" lifestyle. This car just seemed to fit the bill (also looked at the V8 T-reg, but its a V8 and an SUV = ****ty gas mileage).

So i have some mods. it's a 2002, lowered airbag suspension, 20" wheels, APR tuning program, complete carpc system, 3 10's, yadda yadda yadda.

thoughts? questions? concerns? feel free to add your two cents, i appreciate all input.

yeah i hear you about the house. and yes, the 402 mod is awesome! cheapest, easiest, and fastest way to lower a car EVER! i'm actually thinking of going aftermarket airride though. Will require me to rip out the entire suspension and start over. I will also have to procure new wheels as the offset on these bad boys prevents me from going lower.

all the audi allroads actually come like that - separates them from the regular A6 avants. actually the fender flares and bumper cladding are completely unique to the allroad. the later model allroads had painted bumpers but left the center piece of the bumper (the impact portion) unpainted.

That is a sick car. I don't know that you need to go any lower, but I guess that is personal taste.

exactly.

the beauty of it is i can raise it at any time from the dashboard, so i'm not concerned. i don't drive around that low, just park it at shows, picture shoots, etc... and i actually can raise it significantly higher than that by using the VAG-COM.

on a mountain biking trip recently i actually raised it almost a foot for the trip.

thanks for all the kind words guys.

My Wife's Allroad is AWESOME. We recently took it camping and I was surprised at how versatile it was off road.

Great pick up!
