What do you drive daily?

Unlike most of you on here, I only have one car so my DD choice isn't too difficult
2004' A4 1.8T
Like: 500hp and still get 30mpg on the highway
Hate: Car ALWAYS has to be clean and big brakes dust like a *****! Stone nicks suck as well!

How reliable/high maintenance is that thing?

Ive put 20k miles on it in 11 months and havent had to fix anything other than stuff I caused. I drove 2,700 miles to Waterfest in NJ a few months ago and she ran flawlessly the whole way! I have everything extremely simiplified, removed everything that wasn't necessary for the car to run (emissions and the vac system where most problems usually start) so if there is something that breaks, its something big!

I've got an upgraded clutch of course, I'm FWD, not Quattro, and the tranny is perfectly fine as it has been! And the way I daily drive it its around 350whp, around 430-440 @ the crank

Finding it hard to put down power? Especially in the turns...

I don't do nor like 1/4 mile so its really not too bad. I did do a few runs a few weeks ago at an event we had local here at the strip. Lighting up first, second, and half of third, I was able to run a measly 13.8 @ 111mph on 24psi (I run up to 32psi on race gas). Traction on the street is pretty good (except 1st) as the power comes on gradual with the big turbo. I've had 5 different turbo's on this car and the bigger the turbo, the better the traction actually as they dont have a huge torque spike and much more gradual power. I built the car to haul *** on the highway and thats just what it does very well, 60-150 its a monster! [] Here's a vid I made a month or so ago

The fastest B6 A4 1/4 mile time right now is a 12.67 @ 108. All the 13.8 shows is I have no traction and the trap shows how much power the car is making. With the right wheels and tires and of course traction permitting, my car should run around 12.40's on 25psi. Ive ran quite a few of my friends on the highway that run 12.60's-12.90's @ the track and the 12.60 car I can put about 3 car lengths on pretty easily on the tune you saw in that video (pump gas & meth, 26.8psi). On high boost and race gas I should well be within reaches of a 12.0 or possible in the 11's. Plenty of Vdub guys with my setup run 11.6-11.70's on race gas.

Eh how often are you at a damn track anyways right? I think your car is sexy, the only gripe I had about mine was stupid BS that happened like some a hole in the wrong lane for merge trying to beat me to it and when I said oh no you don't in the rain all I'd do was spin... damn those awd ford escapes with ****** bags piloting them.
How much does one have to invest in a B6 A4 so put down reliable solid power without quirks, you said you removed the finicky stuff?
