I checked audiusa website, i found there are no more RS4 there, does it mean audi is not going to make any B7 RS4?

 

2008 was the last year. They'll release a new RS4 based on the new body style in a few years.

I'm sure it will. They need something to compete with the M3/C63/IS-F. I see the S4 as a competitor to the 335.

 

That's a good point,
but we still haven't seen the C6 RS6 saloon/avant over here. I know the S6 competes with the M5 and E63 more than the S4 with the M3, but the S6 still falls short. Though I prefer the B7's, I would love to see a B8 RS4 over here.

 

If my memory serves me correctly, the RS6 didn't come here because of US Emissions, the car wouldn't pass. Initially they were going to send the RS6 Sedan but it was a no-go with emissions.

 

Ya I heard about the emissions, but I hadn't heard they planned to send it over here. Damn, that C6 RS6 avant is so awesome.

 

i wonder if the value of the RS4 will hold.

 

I heard that they are skipping the B8 RS4 in favor of the RS5. Given history that could be true as there was no B6 RS4. But given Audi has already stated that they are ramping up Quattro GMBH production (the makers of all R's and RS's) so they can make multiple RS models at once, but then again that would probably mean they will make the RS5 & RS6 at the same time.

 

I think all B7 production has ended. I'm curious to see how the B8 S4's performance will stack up against the B7 RS4.
