I am in the market for a used 2007 Audi S8. I am not sure where they should be priced, any advice cost as well as ownership would be helpful.

 

find it and keep it...the car is INCREDIBLE...


pricing, I would say anything around 75 for an 07 with around 12k makes sense...just go for it.

 

car is same color combo as yours, 22,500 miles seems loaded except does not have B&O stereo. $102k list when new, can be had for around 66-67k. car looks clean

 

How much time left on the warranty? CPO? Carfax (not really worth the paper it gets printed on....), autocheck clean? Records? If it's not CPO have a PPI done on it. The B&O and full leather are "must have options" in my book, at least they were for me.

My wife and I just bought an 07, Phantom Blk, blk/silver full leather, B&O, Prem. pkg, rear zone heat/AC, built in aftermarket radar detector, tinted windows, ~$111k MSRP (+ extras), CPO, in "like new" condition (car looks like it's never even seen rain!) with 4.3k miles and paid $78k. Get one, they are awesome cars! Good luck.

It has everything but the B&O stereo. Forgive me but I have never bought a used car before, what is CPO, auto check? PPI ? thanks

 

mine doesnt have b & o and im fine with it. I have heard the b&o and while its the most fantastic system I have ever heard in a car, the stock 12 speaker bose system is more than great enough for the a8 and thusly I stopped looking after i found mine. And the daytona is an amazing color.

 

CPO = Certified PreOwned. It's an Audi extended warranty for 2 years past the original 4 year warranty and goes to 100k miles. Autocheck.com is another site that provides vehicle history. The Carfax certification means absolutely nothing except that the car does not have a salavage or otherwise branded title. PPI = PrePurchase Inspection. If this car is not for sale at an Audi dealer I would highly recommend you take the car to an Audi dealer and have them do a prepurchase inspection. If it is at an Audi dealer I would want to understand why they aren't offering it as a CPO car. Best of luck.
