Audi changed all 4 brake pads on warranty. The rears were cracked.

 

I don't know if the brakes on Lambo Gallardo and R8 are the same, but I thought you might find the link interesting. I would keep pushing the dealer to fix it. The responses like, they just need to break in, just drive me crazy. I know the shop foreman at Audi in Plano, TX is a R8 specialist, you might give him a call. I can PM you his info if you need it.

My brakes stopped squealing after ~1,000 miles. I now have ~5000 miles on the R8 and it is quiet as a mouse.

 

OEM R8 rotors are Brembos, by the way.

Are we talking about the brake pads squealing or the rotors?
