Germany... what to get/or not?

Guys,

I will be going to Germany this summer and wanted some input.

If I get some things for the RS4, such as the steering wheel and shift **** below, will I get it for cheaper there?

Also, what are the chances of me getting those seats for a low price and bringing them back?

Or, am I better off contacting someone here?

Thanks!

The u.s. dollar is weak against the Euro so won't things be more expensive?

Not unless the items here are marked up enormously.

Be careful with the seats. I spoke with Recaro about using European R8 seats in my American R8. They told me the air bag system would no longer work and my insurance we be void unless the insurance company gave me a release in writing. I don't know if this is accurate, but it scared me away from using their seats.

The sport seat are hella expensive in the R8, and I imagine they are in the RS4 as well. They also don't meet US safety regs.

I'd steer clear of them. I can think of a million better things to do with $10K than buy neat looking seats.

My guess is it will not be cheaper-especially by the time you pay US customs fees but that is a dope wheel and shift ****!

I doubt you'll get a better price here considering the exchange rate and taxes. Definitely don't buy anything so conspicuous that you'll have to declare it to customs.
