I think the key is the centercaps? I was under the impression that the HRE centercaps were not replacable on the monobloks (or any).

This has been going on for years. We all know who is behind it and everyone involved knows exactly what they're doing and they've all already been warned... just like selling the 24" HRE 943s when HRE doesn't even make 24s. This is why we'll leave it to our lawyers. No point discussing any further.

MAN i cant believe im hearing this about PLATINUM motorsport....i dont think its true they would do something like that.
maybe people just put HRE hubs and say its real HRE.

I believe they copy a lot of people's wheels. Their celeb and older customers are typically not forum types so I doubt they would ever find out.
