Engineered utilizing state of the art CAD CAM 3D modeling, CNC machining, computer controlled Superflow air flow testing and countless man hours, the R8 V-Flow air intake systems represent the apex of air induction technologies. All of the EVOMS systems install in the factory locations and utilize the OEM “ram air” fresh air ducts for lower air intake temperatures and added power. How do these modifications effect the factory warranty?

 

It all depends on how picky your dealer is. If they are fine with an intake system being installed, you're fine. If they're not okay with an intake system then you might have some push-back. This modification will do zero harm to the motor and in my opinion it will be better for the motor because of how inefficient the factory filters are at filtering out fine dust particles. With that being said, the factory airbox is retained, so unless they take it apart they will not know you have an intake system installed.

From there, our software upgrades are undetectable by the dealers. Even with the factory diagnostic tools, only you will know that your car has been modified.

All that to say, I wouldn't worry about warranty issues!

Is there any pics with the airbox cover installed?
With how close those filters sit next to the exhaust, heat is definitely an issue. I suppose some gold reflective film lined on the inside of the airbox should be of some help.

Ok, so I haven't had much time to drive the car with the new set up, but what I can say is WOW. This is exactly how Audi should have sent our cars from the factory. The ECU upgrade and V-Flow intake system is simply amazing. Thanks to the guys at Evolution Motorsports for engineering such a good kit. Worth every penny!

 

Is the flash via OBD2 or do I have you do Ecu? Removing the ECU is not easy.
