An R8 Project We Just Finished (Photos/Video)

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to share some photos of an R8 we just finished up this weekend! We installed a Stasis exhaust, powdercoated his wheels satin black, wrapped them in new PS2 rubber, ceramic coated his tips satin black, and tinted his tail lights. We couldn't be happier with the end result! Here are some finsihed photos!! Click the link below them to see more photos (during the build).

i am not a huge fan of blacked tail lights (the stock ones with their 3D look are awesome already) and i would choose glossy black over matte wheels, but overall very nice and the sound is just sick!

Great looking car, guys. I would highly recommend the H&R lowering springs as a final touch. Makes the car sit fantastic, and improves steering response. Great mod for under $400 (not including labor).

Not feelin' the wheels. I think stock titaniums are the best on the car. Titanium wasn't an option when I got mine, but the retarded amount of brake dust seems to have the same effect

+2. I thought about powder coating my rims, then realized that brake dust coating is not only free but actually save me (car wash) money

I think exhausts should be chrome or stainless steel....does nothing for me in black.

Man you Audi guys are a tough crowd. Customer wants a blacked out car and thats what he's getting! Car looked amazing in person, but I guess everyone has their own taste To me silver stock wheels and chrome exhaust tips are boring since you can see them on every other R8 out there Thats whats great about this industry though, you can make your car exactly how you like it!!

Thanks for the imput!
Evan
PS- Everyone told me I was crazy for getting HRE's with black centers and a chrome lip back in 2003... Look how many people have that scheme now
