07 RS4 Headlight

Just had my car in for its 45k service and Audi is telling me that I need a new right front headlight bulb. They want $385 to do the job. Any suggestion? Should I do it myself? Is it that hard to change or should I just let them do the job. Help please.

I believe that bulbs are only covered under the Audi Advantage Program when under warranty. I'm sure most of the cost is the xenon bulb.

Yeah thats true. I didn't get the Advantage Program. They say the bulb is $225 but I found them for $185.

We can send you out the bulbs for $150 shipped for a pair if you are interested. You can also order a slightly bluer tint if you would like.

Give us a call.

That sounds like a good deal. Are these OEM xenon bulbs?

Thanks James for all your help. I called that number and left a few messages but no call back yet.
