Have you ever built a drag car before?? When you've come that far and built an 800hp drag S4 and then the rear won't hold when your trying to go faster.. Would you recommend scraping the whole car, starting from scratch and building a skyline? Or just find a stronger rear... ?

 

Nice setup! I have a b5 S4 with high 400s whp and wtq on pump gas (basic tial setup), and I have all OEM drivetrain parts. But having built a drag car before, I definitely appreciate that hardly anything remains OEM when the limits are truly pushed. There are only a handful of cars that can run in the 9's on an OEM drivetrain. My drag car was making about 4 times the factory power, and I always chose to "get the job done" be it with a sawzall to make room, parts from a different car, or custom-fabrication while everyone else on the internet was sitting around waiting for some company to manufacture something convenient to install.

In the end I was daily driving my drag car and everyone else had cars on blocks. Thumbs up for making it happen.

Hey Chris do yall sell the VR6 conversion parts for the B5 S4? Or this was just a one off kind of build?
