yeah - i'm considering ordering a 2011, but I haven't been able to drive an S4 yet. There are not any manual transmission 2010's left on the lots around here, so I need to wait for the 2011s to get here. So hopefully this time next month?

the guys over on audizine who ordered 2011's are being told they will be in port arount the 6th and then 10 days to the dealer so ya about a month. i was lucky enough to take the fully loaded s4 they had at my dealer out after i ordered my car. the 6 speed is great....way better than what in my current a4. i was also told yesterday that my car will be here on the 28th and ready for pickup on the 29th....the wait is killing me

Yeah - I drove an A4 and was disappointed with both the clutch and steering feel (the actual transmission felt OK). Then we drove an S5 and I liked the clutch feel and steering much better. But I don't want to make any assumptions on the S4 feeling the same way. Want to drive to be sure before I order a $50k car.

fair enough. i would suggest getting the sport diff as you get drive select light with steering feel and throttle control. my car came off the truck today and i get it tomorrow....cannot wait. i found the steering set to dynamic to be amazing. feels very stiff at high speed with good feedback but when in a parking lot to be very compliant. best of luck finding one to drive.

Love my 2010 S4, not sure what changes for 2011. Recent article in Forbes cited the S4 as one of the hardest car to get in America due to supply. Nice to have a fun and unique car. If I had a dollar for every 3 series I see on the road I could get myself an R8 5.2

What kind of pricing are you seeing on ordered S4s? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one.
